Dragonfly (green)

Description

An original circular artwork painted on the reflective surface of a CD in the vibrant, symbolic style of artist Christina Saj. These works are painted on actual CD’s collected from a variety of sources.

Dragonfly is a piece that captures magic of golden wings, flickering in a green pool. The glittering gold colored wings float on the field of a summer green background. Cadmium yellow and red and purple highlights dapple the surface drawing our eye to catch the details in the pattern on the wings. The piece has Saj’s characteristic decorative surfaces, both expressive and painterly.
