Description

An original circular artwork painted on the reflective surface of a CD in the vibrant, symbolic style of artist Christina Saj. Painted on actual CD’s collected from a variety of sources, Saj sometimes incoprorates text or images from the original CD. This piece embraces the word INSIGHT printed on the CD. A petal shaped form evokes stars in the moonlight on a flecked dark green background and metallic background. The image comes in and out of focus in what feels like dappled light and employs Saj’s characteristic decorative surfaces. Expressive and painterly.
